Tattoos offer a unique avenue for self-expression among individuals. While some opt for subtle ink, others fully immerse themselves, adorning their entire bodies.
Tristan Weigelt, a 26-year-old tattoo apprentice adorned with elaborate body art, captured attention when he revealed his appearance prior to transforming his body into a canvas.
The initial images of his untouched form were truly striking. Keep reading to see the pictures…
Weigelt embarked on his journey to cover 95 percent of his body in tattoos at the age of 20.
“It’s strange seeing myself without all the tattoos,” he shared with the Daily Star. “But oddly enough, I still feel the same inside.”
Among his ink, Weigelt noted that the tattoos on his face and head were the most agonizing, likening the sensation to being scraped with a metal brush.
“It took six full-day sessions, each lasting between five and six hours, and the pain was probably an eight out of 10.”
Despite the intense process, Weigelt clarified that his body art carries no hidden messages or meanings.
Over the span of five years, he has invested $50,000 in his tattoo collection.
Offering advice to those contemplating tattoos, Weigelt suggests, “Choose what resonates with you and what holds personal significance. I’ve seen many individuals fretting over whether a tattoo suits them or fits their style. If you love it, go for it.”

As for me, while I appreciate tattoos as a form of self-expression, I’m uncertain if I’d commit to covering my entire body in them. How about you?
