Billy Ray Cyrus recently exchanged vows with his partner Firerose. After dating officially in 2022, they sealed their commitment in an intimate ceremony.

In April 2022, Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus initiated their third divorce after 28 years of marriage. Following this announcement, Billy Ray Cyrus commenced a relationship with Firerose, an Australian artist, culminating in their engagement in November 2022.
Their initial encounter dated back years prior, around 13 years ago, when Firerose auditioned for a role on Hannah Montana. Billy Ray Cyrus vividly recalled their first meeting, reminiscing about a moment amidst the scenery reminiscent of Tennessee on the studio lot. He recounted, “Tex, my faithful companion, and I would often venture out among the old pine trees during the day, yearning for the familiar sights of Tennessee. Then, on one such day, Firerose emerged from the studio’s entrance. There was an almost surreal sense of recognition. I remember thinking, ‘This girl’s destined for stardom.'”
Reflecting on their initial interaction, Cyrus continued, “She mentioned her audition, and instinctively, I reassured her, ‘You’ve got the job, I’m sure of it.'”
Despite Firerose not securing the role, Cyrus took it upon himself to introduce her to several producers. “I realized that the casting agents, producers, and writers were all within the confines of our Hannah Montana domain. I cautioned her, ‘Never accept such invitations from strangers, but in this case, Tex here can vouch for your safety,'” he explained.
“I decided to introduce her to a producer, offering her the chance to observe our rehearsals and potentially forge connections within the Disney network,” Cyrus elaborated. “So, accompanied by Tex, we ventured back to the studio. She met with the cast, producers, and writers, and in many ways, we formed a lasting friendship,” he concluded.
After his divorce early last year, Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose remained friends until Cyrus expressed his desire for a deeper connection. Firerose moved in with Cyrus in August 2022, and shortly thereafter, he proposed.
Recalling the moment, Firerose shared, “Billy looked at me and said, ‘Do you, do you wanna marry me?’ And I was just like, ‘Of course I do. I love you.’ He said, ‘I love you. I wanna make this official. I wanna be with you forever.'”
Their wedding swiftly followed, just a few months after Cyrus’s ex-wife Tish remarried “Prison Break” star Dominic Purcell in August 2023. Tish’s two children from a previous relationship, Brandi, 36, and Trace, 34, attended the wedding and appeared in photos alongside Purcell and two of his children. Billy Ray had legally adopted Brandi and Trace during his marriage to Tish. Together, the couple had Miley Cyrus, Braison, and Noah.
Notably, Noah and Braison were absent from their mother’s wedding. On the day of the ceremony, the siblings were together and shared temporary Instagram stories about their trip to Walmart, with Noah wearing a shirt featuring Billy Ray.
It remains uncertain whether any of Cyrus’s children attended his wedding to Firerose.
Following their wedding, as the couple shared pictures on social media, some fans couldn’t help but comment on one detail: Billy Ray Cyrus’s hair! One person remarked, “Could have at least brushed his hair for the occasion,” while another questioned, “He couldn’t comb his hair??”
