Tori Spelling has faced significant challenges recently.
Earlier this year, she and her husband Dean McDermott announced their split after 18 years together. McDermott shared the news on Instagram, writing, “It’s with great sadness and a very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways and start a new journey of our own. We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time. We ask that you all respect our privacy as we surround our family with love and work our way through this.”
Although he later deleted the post, tensions between the couple remained.
Following their separation, Spelling and her five children had to leave their rental home due to a mold infestation.
They spent time living in an RV before finding another rental, which they were forced to evacuate earlier this week.
In mid-October, Spelling and her children Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau were evacuated by a SWAT team responding to an armed gunman near their home.
This instability has caused significant uncertainty in their lives. A source close to the family said Spelling is “trying to find her footing and doing her best to take care of her kids,” referencing her hospital stay and the separation, in addition to their housing struggles.
The source added, “She’s not used to moving around for months on end. Being forced out of her rental was scary for her and her children.”
The children have also been affected. “Her kids are at an age where they can understand what’s going on,” the source noted, adding, “Their friends from school do too and ask them about their current situation.”
