Before joining ABC News, Marciano, aged 55, held positions at various local TV and radio stations across the nation. Additionally, he served as a meteorologist and field reporter for CNN.

In January 2013, he made a transition to Entertainment Tonight where he co-hosted both a 30-minute and 60-minute program for nearly two years. By late 2014, he departed ET to join ABC News.

During his tenure at ABC, he delivered weather updates for World News Tonight and the weekend edition of Good Morning America, a role previously occupied by Ginger Zee.

Before his official departure, Page Six reported Marciano’s prohibition from the GMA studios due to alleged “improper” conduct.

“He created discomfort among people. There was a period of unsettling incidents,” a source informed the outlet.

Marciano’s termination occurred two years following his divorce filing from ex-wife Eryn. The couple, parents to two children, had been married for 11 years.

“The past couple of years have been challenging,” he expressed at the time. “I didn’t desire this and endeavored to salvage the marriage, but regrettably, we are divorcing. My primary focus is now on my children.”

In September 2023, Somara Theodore assumed Marciano’s position on the weekend edition of GMA. At that time, the meteorologist emphasized his continuation, expressing anticipation for an “exciting new project” with NatGeo.
