Fashion at high-profile events like the Olympics can be polarizing, with some embracing bold and unconventional choices while others prefer more traditional attire.
Opting for bold over traditional, Chrissy Teigen, the mother of four, eschewed mommy jeans for a more daring look.
The stunning model attended an event for the 2024 Paris Olympics with her husband, John Legend, and their two oldest children, Luna (eight) and Miles (six).
For the occasion, the TV personality wore an olive-colored Chloé set, featuring a knit cardigan and matching barely-there shorts.

On Sunday, July 28, Teigen, 38, shared an Instagram post with a series of images of her, her husband, Luna, Miles, and celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Captain Sandy from Below Deck, and Hoda Kotb, co-anchor of the Today Show.
She captioned the post, “Opening ceremonies! Sure it was a little (a lot) rainy but wowowowowow absolutely epic experience (and got to see a few of my favorite people!).”
Some fans adored Teigen’s photos and praised her stunning and bold look.
“[Teigen is] recognized as the style influencer throughout the world. She looks fabulous,” one fan wrote, while another added, “I would wear that every day if I had those legs.”
In response to the negativity in Teigen’s comments section, a third fan defended her, saying, “She’s a model with 7ft legs, let her show off her assets. It bought her a house; what have your legs done?”
‘Grandma’s undies’
Though the actor rocked the look, some people failed to appreciate her outfit.
“She’s wearing grandma’s undies! Love her, but not an appropriate outfit for this.
Should have looked in the mirror a little longer,” one person commented.
Another troll wrote, “You’re at the Olympics. Not the runway. Totally inappropriate outfit.”
“The airline lost your pants? Seriously, this is awful. If you were drunk, I’d understand,” another person added.
Among the negative comments—some comparing her shorts to “diapers” and others calling the outfit “tasteless and classless”—one remark particularly grabbed Teigen’s attention.
“The worst outfit for that kind of event,” wrote a user with the handle @monicadoncheva.
Though her response was subtle, the former Sports Illustrated model tagged the user and replied, “thanks for sharing!”
Thrilled she acknowledged a comment, fans jumped in to defend her look.
“She’s a supermodel just supermodeling. Paris and the Olympics will be just fine,” one fan commented, while another wrote, “Girl, you looked fire and your outfit is perfect for any event. These haters could never!”
Another remarked, “The most fierce! It’s honestly [fire].”
