Goldie Hawn shared that the allure of L.A.’s sparkle and glamour has faded for her, especially after enduring two traumatic incidents at her home.

With the crime rate escalating in L.A., not even the residence of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell was immune. During an appearance on Kelly Ripa’s podcast ‘Let’s Talk Off Camera,’ the esteemed actress revealed her intentions to leave the city following two recent break-ins at her home.

She mentioned that she and her longtime partner, Kurt Russell, are exploring new places to live, highlighting Palm Desert as a favored option due to its perceived safety compared to L.A., which they now find to be “terrible.”

Hawn detailed the distressing break-ins that impacted her family…

She detailed how robbers had attempted to enter her property on multiple occasions, with one group managing to break in and search through their rooms.

She described the extent of one incident, explaining, “They completely knocked down my door, a safe door, indicating their high level of sophistication, and took many valuable items.”

After trying to move past the initial incident, they were victimized by another robbery just four months later.

This series of events profoundly impacted her, prompting her to reconsider her safety in L.A. and maintain constant vigilance.

Goldie Hawn’s residence isn’t the only one targeted; in 2024, several well-known figures including King Bach, Corinna Kopf, Farrah Aldjufrie, and Patrick Patterson also experienced burglaries.
