“I was informed that I would only be considered for a child with an illness, severe disability, or behavioral issues,” he revealed to the BBC. “I wholeheartedly accepted these conditions.”
Luca embarked on the journey of adopting Alba in 2017 when she was just 13 days old, having been turned down by 20 families due to her medical condition.
“She has brought me immeasurable happiness and a profound sense of fulfillment. I am immensely proud to be her father,” he declared.
