Amanda Rose, a US-based stay-at-home mom, frequently shares glimpses of her daily life through vlogs.
The 25-year-old recently faced backlash for the untidy state of her home. Amanda mentioned that her floor often has scattered clothes, but she chooses not to dedicate her entire day to cleaning.
Instead, she prefers spending quality time with her children at the park or pursuing hobbies, emphasizing that she is “a mother, not a housekeeper.”
In a recent vlog, Amanda gave viewers a tour of her untidy kitchen, commenting, “This is a typical morning for me.” She candidly shared, “Many wonder how my home gets this way, but the truth is, I don’t always tidy up after myself or the kids.”
Amanda mentioned, “Often, we just walk over the clothes on the floor. If we need something to wear, we pull it straight from the dryer.” She laughingly added, “There are times I forget about the laundry in the washer for days, and then I have to redo it.”
She continued, “While some can’t rest in a messy home, I can easily sleep. If I were to clean all day, that’s all I’d ever do. Yes, I’m a stay-at-home mom, but that doesn’t mean I’m constantly cleaning. I prefer one big cleanup and then let the kids play freely.”
