Queen Camilla shares new update on King Charles’ health Post-Diagnosis – His behavior makes everyone worry.

King Charles has resumed some of his royal duties following treatment for cancer, which was disclosed in January. The monarch, crowned just over a year ago, has been spending significant time at the Sandringham estate during his treatment. While his recovery has understandably consumed much of his energy, the ongoing family rift with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may also weigh heavily on his mind.

Although he hasn’t reconciled with the Sussexes, he is reportedly making a concerted effort to repair the relationship. This effort is motivated less by a desire to mend things with Harry and Meghan, and more by his wish to become closer to his US-based grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet.

Throughout his recovery, King Charles has had the support of his closest family members. However, a royal expert has recently described him as a “workaholic” who is acutely aware that “time is ticking” on his reign.

In this context, Queen Camilla’s recent comments about King Charles’ health take on a new level of seriousness…

King Charles ‘discussing’ stripping Harry & Meghan of royal titles

Harry and Meghan have made numerous accusations about the Royal Family since leaving the UK. Although members of the Firm have strong opinions about these claims, recent events have further strained relations between the Sussexes and the monarchy.

Many were surprised when Harry and Meghan undertook what appeared to be a ‘royal’ visit to Nigeria for three days in mid-May to support the Invictus Games. During their trip, they met with wounded soldiers and their families, achieving considerable success. However, their visit reportedly sparked a different reaction in the UK. According to a royal insider speaking with the Mirror, King Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton were “furious” about Harry and Meghan’s trip.

Tom Quinn told the Mirror that the Prince and Princess of Wales are not just angry with Harry and Meghan but fear that their worst nightmare has come true.

“William is absolutely furious and determined to find a way to stop this happening in the future. Charles is said to be angrier than anyone has ever seen him,” Quinn said, adding that William is upset that the Nigerians “treated Meghan and Harry as if they too thought this was an official tour.”

“It’s as if Harry and Meghan have gone rogue—their Nigeria trip is a bold statement that they refuse to accept they are no longer working royals. William and Charles are scratching their heads and thinking, ‘How are we going to control this nightmare situation?’” Quinn added.

“For Charles and William, it’s as if Meghan and Harry are saying, ‘We don’t need your permission to be working royals – we will do it on our own terms whenever and wherever we like,’” Quinn said.

While King Charles and Prince William may not be able to prevent Harry and Meghan from conducting themselves in a manner reminiscent of working royals, a new claim suggests that the king has a strategic plan. According to Quinn, King Charles has been discussing the possibility of stripping Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of their titles.

During their trip to Nigeria, the Sussexes used their “Duke” and “Duchess” titles, which were displayed on chairs, and their website reads: “The Office of Prince Harry & Meghan, The Duke & Duchess of Sussex.”

According to Quinn, Charles and William have had “lengthy discussions” about stripping Harry and Meghan of their official titles, though they are wary of the potential backlash.

“They are terrified this would backfire and make the situation worse,” Quinn told the Mirror. “The last thing they want is to give the renegade royals something else to complain about. Even without their royal titles, Meghan and Harry would likely continue traveling the world as if they were royals, and most people would still welcome them.”

During King Charles’ absence, Queen Camilla has taken on significant responsibilities, appearing on his behalf at several royal events. The King has recently resumed some royal duties, notably appearing at the 80th anniversary of D-Day in Portsmouth and Normandy last week.

Given his advanced age, recent cancer diagnosis, and the high-stress nature of his role, one might think it prudent for Charles to take things slow. However, that doesn’t seem to be his approach.

Last week, Queen Camilla provided an update on the King’s health, noting that he refuses to ease up on his workload. Speaking at the second annual Queen’s Reading Room Literary Festival at Hampton Court Palace, Camilla, as reported by author Lee Child, said Charles is “doing fine except he won’t slow down and won’t do what he’s told.”

Child humorously added that it “sounds to me like a typical husband.”

Many might be surprised by Queen Camilla’s new health update.

Royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News she believes King Charles’ tireless work ethic is only natural, given his long wait to ascend the throne.

“The last thing the nation wants is a lazy monarch,” Fordwich said. “Having been the longest-serving heir apparent, waiting for 70 years, and now facing health challenges, he is acutely aware that time is ticking.”

She explained that King Charles has been preparing for this role his entire life. “After waiting for so long, he has thrown himself into the job. He wants to make his mark. All that downtime away from his people makes him anxious and agitated,” she added.

Fordwich emphasized that King Charles’ projects are designed to have a real impact, not just serve as honorary appearances. “He has devoted his life to making a difference. Therefore, the downtime recommended by his doctors is not at all welcome. His reaction is admirable. The last thing the nation wants is a lazy monarch.”

Meanwhile, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams noted that King Charles is a “workaholic who skips lunch.”

Summer brings numerous royal duties, and this upcoming weekend features one of the year’s highlights: Trooping the Colour. This beloved tradition, which started under King George II in 1748, was moved to the summer because his November birthday was too cold for an outdoor parade. Trooping the Colour has since become a significant event, combining a military parade with a public celebration.

King Charles confirmed to appear at Trooping the Colour

Therefore, unless their birthdate coincides with their official celebration, Britain’s reigning monarch enjoys two birthdays each year. Trooping the Colour typically takes place on the second Saturday in June.

According to the Royal Museums Greenwich, Trooping the Colour has its origins on the battlefield. A regiment’s flag, or “colours,” served as a crucial rallying point for soldiers during combat. This year’s celebration is unique due to discussions surrounding King Charles’ attendance given his health.

It has been confirmed by the palace that despite his cancer diagnosis, King Charles will attend. Unlike previous years, he will ride in a horse-drawn carriage alongside Camilla for the parade, rather than on horseback.

Many royal fans eagerly anticipate the Royal Family’s appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony, where they traditionally greet thousands of people. Although there has been little news about Kate Middleton recently, the Daily Mail reported some weeks ago that the Princess of Wales is considering appearing on the balcony.

Whether she will appear remains to be seen, but public relations expert Rhea Freeman believes it would bring great joy to King Charles.

“If Kate were to appear on the balcony, it would definitely dominate the news,” Freeman told GB News. “But from everything I’ve read and seen, I would imagine that the King would be delighted to have her there.”
