Have you ever felt like you don’t recognize yourself in the mirror after a visit to the hairdresser. Sometimes pets go through the same experiences as people do.
For example, this is what happend to a cute Samoyed dog. His owner couldn’t recognize him.
One day a girl took her pet, Nanook, to a special dog groomer. She asked to tidy up her pet by lightly trimming its hair. But apparently the dog groomer understood her request in his own way. When she came back for her pet, she didn’t recognize him.
Instead of her ‘fluffy bear’, the girl got a nearly bald dog that vaguely resembled a bull terrier. The girl was shocked by that transformation. She couldn’t believe she was looking at her own dog.
To be sure, the girl even called her pet to see if it was really him.
Judging by the behavior of the dog, he just loved his new look. But the owner got really depressed. She did not argue with the groomer, but said she would no longer use his services.
Nanook had to wait for almost a year for his “coat” to grow back. In addition, his delicate skin required regular treatment with sunscreen.
The owner even had to put a T-shirt on her dog to protect him from the burning sunlight.
Now he is a big fluffy boy again. Be careful, when you take your pets for a hairdo.
