Shoes make a statement about a person’s personality and even their mood. Show us your shoes, we’ll tell you who you are. It is not hard to say that people wearing expensive shoes are those who earn a lot, (then again, anyone could guess that) and that those who wear outrageous footwear are extroverts. To justify these cases, researchers at the University of Kansas formed a study conducting 63 subjects that observed 208 shoes and made the participants guess the personality of the owner behind it. Astoundingly, they guessed it correctly at a 90% rate. Here are the results.
Practically friendly
It showed that those who wear practical footwear tend to be friendlier and more approachable. They can easily get along with others and like conversing with people. Most are also adventurous.
Ankle boots
Those, who often wear ankle boots, are said to be the aggressive types. They are risk–takers and are not afraid of exploring things.
The calm personality
Don’t judge the divas. They say that if you don’t care about how uncomfortable you are with your shoes, then you most likely have a calm personality. That’s some positive note after wearing your double platform 16 cm.
Pristine conscious
Meanwhile, the more pristine your shoes are, the more self–conscious you are likely to be. You are also considered an organized person.
The boring shoes
If you find yourself not caring about what shoes to wear in the morning, the truth is, boring shoes are proven to be worn by repressive people. Ones who find it hard to build relationships. While this doesn’t apply to all (sometimes is just fashion sense), but whenever you encounter this kind of person, then try to confirm it by checking their shoes.
So the next time you meet someone, don‘t judge them by their looks, try their shoes.
